David Dowthwaite - Profile
David Dowthwaite established this firm (then known as David Dowthwaite & Co) in 1997 after working in a well known practice in Rotorua since 1980.
David was educated at Palmerston North Boys High School and Victoria University at Wellington. He initially specialised in Family Court and Civil Litigation but his experience has broadened to specialise in a wide range of legal services taking a special interest more recently in Property Law. David has held positions of responsibility with the Law Society including chairing the Waikato Bay of Plenty Family Law Committee and he is a long term Rotarian. He is married to Jennifer and they have raised their family in Rotorua. David has particularly enjoyed the long term relationships which he has developed with his clients in Rotorua and throughout the wider Bay of Plenty region.
